Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of BrandGora, a marketplace where brands run campaigns and creators deliver work for them, with payment held in escrow until the work is approved.

1. Who these terms are between
BrandGora ("BrandGora", "we", "us") operates this platform from Ghana. By creating an account, you ("you", "your") agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and "you" means that company.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
2. Accounts and roles
An account is either a brand account or a creator account. One account is one side of the marketplace: a brand account cannot act as a creator, and a creator account cannot act as a brand. If you need both, register separately.
You must verify your email address before using the platform. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
The information you give us — your name, country, contact details and any social accounts you connect — must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
3. Campaigns and applications
A brand publishes a campaign describing the work, the budget and the deadline. Creators apply. The brand decides which applications to accept, and is under no obligation to accept any. Accepting an application forms an agreement between the brand and that creator on the terms set out in the campaign; BrandGora is not a party to it.
A brand may close a campaign. Closing does not cancel work already accepted and funded — those escrows run their course.
4. Escrow, and how money moves
Money on BrandGora moves through a wallet and an escrow, in this order:
- The brand adds funds to its wallet. Payments are processed by Paystack; we never see or store your card details.
- When the brand accepts an application, the campaign budget moves from the brand's available balance into escrow, where neither side can spend it.
- The creator submits the deliverable for review.
- The brand approves the work, and the funds are released to the creator's wallet — or requests changes, and the creator submits again.
If the deadline passes with no deliverable submitted, the brand may reclaim the funds, which returns them to the brand's available balance and releases the creator's place on the campaign. Reclaiming is only possible where no work has been submitted.
Funds held in escrow are held for the purpose of the campaign they belong to. They do not earn interest for you, and they are not a deposit.
5. Revisions and disputes
A brand may request changes to submitted work. Where revision rounds exceed the platform's threshold, or where either side believes the other is not acting in good faith, either the brand or the creator may raise a dispute.
A disputed escrow is reviewed by BrandGora staff, who decide whether the funds are released to the creator or returned to the brand, and record a reason. We decide on the evidence in front of us — the campaign brief, what was submitted, and the messages between you. Our decision on the release of escrowed funds is final as far as the platform is concerned. It does not prevent either of you from pursuing the matter elsewhere.
6. Fees
Any platform fee is shown before you commit to a transaction. Payment processing charges are applied by Paystack and are outside our control. Where a fee applies, it is deducted at the point the relevant funds move, and the amounts are visible in your wallet history.
7. Content and ownership
Creators keep ownership of the work they produce unless the campaign says otherwise. On release of payment for a deliverable, the creator grants the brand the licence described in that campaign. Read a campaign's terms before applying: what a brand is buying varies from campaign to campaign.
You grant BrandGora a limited licence to store, display and transmit your content for the purpose of operating the platform — showing a deliverable to the brand reviewing it, for example. We do not use your content to promote BrandGora without asking you first.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including music, images and the likeness of anyone appearing in it.
8. What you may not do
- Take a transaction off the platform to avoid fees, having found the other party through it.
- Submit work you did not make or do not have the rights to.
- Buy or use fake engagement, bot traffic or purchased followers.
- Misrepresent your audience, reach or performance.
- Use the platform to launder money or to move funds unrelated to a campaign.
- Harass, threaten or abuse anyone here.
- Attempt to access accounts, data or administrative functions that are not yours.
9. Suspension
We may suspend an account where we believe these terms have been broken, where there is credible evidence of fraud, or where we are required to by law. A suspension ends the account's sessions and prevents sign-in; we will tell you the reason. Funds already in escrow are dealt with under the dispute process rather than forfeited.
You may stop using BrandGora at any time. Ask us to close your account and we will, subject to settling anything outstanding.
10. What we do not promise
BrandGora is a place to find and transact with the other side of a campaign. We do not guarantee that a brand will find a suitable creator, that a creator will find work, that any campaign will perform, or that the other party will behave well. We provide the platform as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim connected to the platform is limited to the fees we earned on the transaction the claim relates to. We are not liable for lost profit, lost audience or indirect loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use BrandGora after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top of this page is when the text last changed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
